Not bad! We've passed this place a million times but never came in.

Cóctel de camaron: She wasn't a big fan, and they lost a star here. Very ketchup forward. Sure, you get the usual condiments to doctor it up, but this is a bit too much on the "shrimp floating in ketchup" end of the scale. Needs work.

Mojara: Well, third time is a charm. They were out of (which tends to mean they don't actually serve) at least three of the five fish on the menu, so I asked what they actually do have "just mojara". OK, same old that every seafood place has. I went for the diabla. Whole fish, excellent sauce, perfectly cooked. Nice. Ate every morsel.

Sides: Free little empanada and a plantain on rice. Cool. Liked them both.

Drinks: naranjada and limonada con mineral, which is our go to when they don't have craft beer (they don't). Huge globe of it, could be much colder, but they were nice.

Price: significantly overpriced (by about 30%), but service was good.

This place seems popular. When I came on a Friday evening around 530 it was packed and the servers were running around.

I would say that the food is the best part of this place. The shrimp empanadas were light fluffy and flavorful. The grilled octopus pieces were also really flavorful and came with a side of rice and two sweet plantain strips.

Me encantó este lugar. Desde mi llegada la atención del personal fue excelente, en todo momento fueron atentos y estuvieron al pendiente de lo que necesitara. Tanto el gerente como el mesero que se me asignó tuvieron la paciencia y dedicación de darme sus recomendaciones, así como también explicarme las diferencias entre los platillos para poder decidir qué ordenar. Se notó que a los trabajadores se les brinda capacitación. Me gustó muchísimo la decoración, me sentí en un pedacito de Veracruz, pues los colores y las pinturas van muy de acuerdo con el restaurante. Se refleja en cada detalle el amor y dedicación con el que se creó. En cuanto a la comida, me gustó todo lo que pedí. Recomiendo mucho las quesadillas de cazón y la sopa de mariscos, esta última, es sustanciosa y contiene variedad de mariscos con una cocción perfecta. Los alimentos son frescos y de calidad, cocinados con gran sazón. Hay variedad en bebidas tanto calientes como frías, con y sin alcohol. El agua de horchata me gustó porque sabe natural. Por último, me pareció muy buena idea el poner el menú en la mesa, ya que de esta manera hay más higiene y se contribuye al cuidado del medioambiente. Sin duda...
